Vive la Reine is a new clothing company out of San Francisco helmed by Elle Kuvvetli, who knows what professional women wear: she worked as an accountant for Pricewaterhouse Coopers and did a stint as the VP of Finance for a start-up software company. After some thought, she decided to pursue her dream of fashion design, and opened her own company with clothes geared toward professional women — Vive La Reine.

Browsing through her collections, we like what we see. There are tons of pieces here that are classic but feminine — some are downright sexy. (Jacket required for the office!) A lot of them are reversible, so you get both a black top and a gray top, which is perfect for travel. In general, some great pieces. Their Fall 2007 collection is currently 30% off, and for Corporette readers they’re also offering 20% off the Spring 08 collection with code spring20 at checkout.

One of the reversible pieces we mentioned is this Gisele top (above), which has some great ruching along the side and a sexy racer-back. It’s on sale for $89. The Sarah top (below) with an asymmetrical neckline, is also reversible and has a racer-back. Available for $82.

The Elle top can be worn a multitude of ways — tucked in, as shown, but also as a tunic worn either loose over wide pants or perhaps belted over a pencil skirt. The patterns are beautiful and fun. $148.

We love the little details of this Jackie dress — the pintucked waist, the cuffed ballet sleeves, the tall collar. Alas, not available until September 08.

This one’s our favorite, which (boo!) is also not available until September ’08 — the Chloe top. We love the detailing here, and the fact that it’s black silk laid over black lace is a lovely, unexpected element. Great stuff.

The Sophia dress is great fun if you can pull it off — it looks totally demure from the front but is daringly backless. Wear a jacket or cardigan with it at the office and then head out for a date! On sale for $152.
