For the busy woman, shopping online is sometimes all the schedule will allow. (Whose bright idea was it to have store hours from 10 AM to 8 PM, anyway?) It’s actually our preferred mode of shopping — so long as we don’t pay for shipping. For some reason, no matter how great of a discount we’re getting on the clothes, we still feel like we’re being swindled if we have to pay shipping. (We’ve come to think of it as a tax for trying things on.)
One of the reasons we’ve always been against shipping prices is because it seems like it’s for the novice, the uninitiated — there is ALWAYS a free shipping code out there, it seems. But how to find? There are way too many coupon sites are there to wade through, and some of them are so poorly designed you feel like spyware or worse is being installed on your computer as you try to figure out how to save $10 on shipping.
This is why we’ve come to know and love our favorite coupon site: Retail Me Not. In addition to having a pretty great round-up of coupon codes (in our minds, if they don’t have it, NO ONE DOES), they tell you the percentage of people who have gotten the coupon to work. They also allow comments without making people sign in, which is helpful if you can’t figure out why someone else could get the code to work and you can’t. It’s our first-stop-shop for times when we’re looking for a coupon code or a great discount.

Love retailmenot — they’re the reason I was able to get 30% off my Corinna Jetsetter Jr. via revolve-clothing. Of course, I felt a bit silly ordering a bag made in New York and sold in California considering I live in New York, but 30% is 30% :)

Another good source of coupon codes is buxr.com. They are more likely to have printable coupons you can carry into the store.
I don’t resent shipping costs if they’re reasonable (I have a pretty good idea of what standard postal costs are). Somebody has to pay for shipping through the postal system to my door, right?
