Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices. We begin the week in splurge mode, with our most expensive suggestions, and wind our way to Friday, where a less expensive item of clothing might be just what you need to make it to the weekend.

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: we’re kind of loving the Gap right now. This new fitted tie-neck shirt — part of designer Patrick Robinson’s new aesthetic at Gap — is modern yet vintage at the same time. We almost see Annie Hall when we look at it, but totally, completely doable for every woman; accordingly, we’d wear with wide trousers to the office. The shirt is $48 and is available in blue, pink, purple (on sale for $32) and white & gray. Women: Fitted tie-neck shirt – navy stripe

Did you see the NYT style article on Patrick Robinson yesterday. It’s really interesting!
