Thursday’s TPS Report: Ann Taylor Parquet Dress

in Fashion, The Personal Shopper (TPS)

Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices. We begin the week in splurge mode, with our most expensive suggestions, and wind our way to Friday, where a less expensive item of clothing might be just what you need to make it to the weekend.

Today, we like this black and white dress from Ann Taylor. The pattern is flattering and fun (and looks good with a colored belt, as other pictures on the site illustrate) but we really like the empire waist and the slight flare on the skirt. The neckline is totally appropriate for work, but the keyhole adds a flash of skin to break up the pattern. It’s on sale, too — was $128, now $69. Ann Taylor Parquet Print Dress
