Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices. We begin the week in splurge mode, with our most expensive suggestions, and wind our way to Friday, where a less expensive item of clothing might be just what you need to make it to the weekend.
This blazer has a lot of things we normally don’t like — a belt, no collar, puffed sleeves — but for some reason all of those things really, really make this jacket work. It’s beautiful and ladylike but still totally work appropriate. Also, herringbone is a great way to add some contrast to an all black (or black and white) outfit — we would keep this jacket in our office to throw over a black sheath dress or otherwise dress up a t-shirt or tank, and black trousers.
