I realize I'm late on this, but I'd love if you could address this in a future post. I have never worn a long sleeved shirt under a short sleeved/sleeveless shirt, dress, or blazer, and I've also never seen a single woman do this, in either a professional or casual setting. I understand a vest over a long sleeved shirt, but I cannot imagine this look you've described with such frequency. I also don't really think I've ever seen the look on a model in a catalogue--I really can't picture how this could work. All that comes to mind is junior high when I wore t-shirts over turtlenecks, but I really hope that's not it!

Thanks!

Ammerican Apparel has a great selection of just what you are describing. The shirts don't shrink, and are thin and stretchy.
