Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices. We begin the week in splurge mode, with our most expensive suggestions, and wind our way to Friday, where a less expensive item of clothing might be just what you need to make it to the weekend.
Sometimes, a splash of color is just what a working wardrobe needs. We like this empire tunic with puffed sleeves from Anthropologie — worn with conservative gray or black trousers, it would be a great addition to a summer wardrobe, especially when paired with an opaque white cardigan. Available at Anthropologie; was $78, now $39. Big Island Top

I have to say that I adore Anthropologie, and I spend a lot of time longingly flipping through the catalogues that they send me. Unfortunately, most of their clothing is just too artsy for BigLaw.
I do not believe that I could pull off this shirt at work.
TPS Report on a holiday Friday. That is dedication. Although I just checked whether today is a statutory holiday in the US, so maybe you do not have today off. Happy Friday either way! End rambling comment.
I saw this top at a store . . . beware that it has a tie in the back, which I find makes it very uncomfortable to sit at my desk and drive to work.
