Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices. We begin the week in splurge mode, with our most expensive suggestions, and wind our way to Friday, where a less expensive item of clothing might be just what you need to make it to the weekend. We love this silk v-neck dress from Banana Republic — the ruching at the sides guarantees a good fit of the drawstring waist, but it’s also guaranteed to be incredibly comfortable. High neckline, ladylike hemline — throw a cardigan or cropped blazer on top of it for the office, and rock a wrap with it when you go out on the town for drinks after work. We especially like the shark grey color. Available at Banana Republic for $150. Women: Silk pleated v-neck dress – Shark greyWorkwear sales of note for 3.28.24

Now I totally don’t want to pay $150!

The elastic waistband looks bad in person if you don’t have washboard abs…….I’m a size 6 and this looked like a paper bag on me!

This is not nearly tailored enough for work. Not even with a cardigan or a blazer.
With the right figure (and I really mean that) this might work for a date – but really, ladies, it’s pretty shoddy even as a neglige. And at $150, its a rip-off.
