I must be out of touch… but the picture of this blazer… on top of the frazzled unhemmed way-to-short-for-work skirt and crappy t-shirt really doesn’t motivate me to spend $385. I see nothing work appropriate here.
Mmmmm, silk lining. Wish I could afford to shop in that price bracket more often.
I went to the website to look at the jacket and one of the pictures shows that when the jacket is buttoned, the bottom flares out. Is it supposed to do that? I’m curious, is it appropriate for a jacket to flare out like that or would it just depend on the person and fit?
Keep in mind that the model is probably much taller than the average woman who would wear this jacket. Jackets are supposed to flair out at the waist, but on this model it’s probably too short waisted to work that well on her. That sad, I didn’t find the flair out that noticeable.
I knew you weren’t suggesting we ought to wear cutoff denim minis to the office:). On the right person a peplum looks great.
This blazer is gorgeous, but very out of my price range right now. Still, a girl can dream.
Love everything but the asymmetrical hem. That just looks weird and like you missed a button. Not like I have $385 to blow on a single jacket right now anyway though!
jcrew has a similar looking jacket: stretch wool schoolboy blazer. it is also very cute.
Nice jacket but I don’t care for the asymetrical hem. I agree with Jay…it looks like she got dressed quickly and missed a button. Or your home sewing project has gone terribly wrong.
