Ok, agreed. Maybe this cardiga isn’t Vogue, but F21! Either way, it’s loud and could induce seizures 8-)

It's a basic black and white pattern; might not be your thing (it isn't mine either), but seizures? Really? No need to get melodramatic.

I love and connect with this site's philosophy, but agree that the recommended clothes are pretty standard and low-risk... perhaps on purpose. High style this isn't; as for high fashion, office wear could never, ever aspire to that.

The variety is great -- I know I myself have needs up and down the spectrum, depending on clients, situation, impression I want to make, etc. However, I can see someone with a consistent visual aesthetic picking out outfits for a corporate boardroom and casual Friday, and I could see the same aesthetic in their choices, even though one choice might involve a pencil skirt and conservative pumps and the other choice a statement necklace and really cool shoes. I guess what I'm saying is that I do read other personal blogs where I have a sense of the person's style (whether or not it matches mine). I don't have that with Corporette yet. Maybe it's just me.

I am loving this W2WW website for work-appropriate clothes! Great classy, timeless pieces.
And I do like this cardigan above.

Agree with above, the stuff on this site is pretty run-of-the-mill, mainstream office-wear fashion (but I still love the site).

I think it's difficult for a site that caters to all sorts of professional women to have one consistent focus. The site is designed to help women be fashionable at work, no matter what the limitations of the workplace are. Many items on this site bore me to tears because I live in a more fashion-forward area, but others in conservative areas need options just like I do.

I'm not particularly a cardigan girl, but I can see myself wearing this with a simple black sheath dress with a slim white belt over it. I'm wondering if it could work with a wide, brightly colored belt, but can't really tell.

I've been wondering for a while if C is actually a compilation of a few different people. Maybe that's the multiple personality advice we're picking up on. Another reason may be that C is simply trying to offer advice from every angle because of the variety of site visitors.

I do agree this cardigan is not "high fashion," but a much less expensive knockoff (Target does them well) may do well when used to "brighten" up a monochromatic outfit.
