- The WaPo’s Robin Givhan discusses Madeleine Albright’s pins, now on exhibition in New York (pictured).  Meanwhile, the NYT snags an interview with Sarah Palin’s stylist, Lisa Kline.

- The WSJ examines different time-management systems.  (We’ve been fans of David Allen for a while, and are also going to try the Pomodoro Technique.  We found a Pomodoro timer you can download to your computer, which seems to us a bit more discreet than a kitchen timer; this article also rounds up timers for the iPhone and beyond.)

- Harvard Business Blog advises how to ask for help at work without looking stupid.

- Wired.com advises how to identify a phishing scam.

- Lifehacker notes that if you’re traveling this holiday season, Google will be offering free wi-fi in some airports… cool.

Not a fan of Palin’s politics or persona at any level, but from a purely professional image standpoint, I felt her clothing during the campaign did indeed hit the mark. Fine clothing, nicely tailored, appropriate for professional settings.

I’m finding the Albright article timely in light of the not to distant discussion of whether fashion is ’serious’ or makes one appear to lack seriousness. I think her use of the pins/brooches was a brilliant tool.

Been trying the Pomodoro technique the last few days, as I have serious time management problems. WONDERFUL.
