Bargain Friday’s TPS Report: Lauren by Ralph Lauren “Vatusia” Pleated Scoopneck Top

in Fashion, The Personal Shopper (TPS)

Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.
The funny thing about a short week (like last week) is that it makes the next one seem even longer by comparison — so happy Friday to everyone.  For today, we like this basic tank that has some nice pleating at the top — definitely acceptable under a suit or a camisole, or perhaps a good way to raise the neckline of an otherwise iffy sweater.  We know a good sale when we see one, too — this was $59.50, and is now $17.85 at Dillards.  Available in black, purple, and blue (pictured), in a variety of sizes for each color.  Lauren by Ralph Lauren “Vatusia” Pleated Scoopneck Top

If you’ve recently seen a great work piece you’d like to recommend to the readers, please e-mail editor@corporette.com with “TPS” in the subject line. Unless you ask otherwise, we’ll refer to you by your first initial.

A very nice basic. Ann Taylor often has similar basics at good prices.

I bought this in purple at Macy’s a couple of weeks ago, mostly because it was such a good price (clearance, coupons, etc.). It’s very comfortable, completely professional under a jacket, and I love it with a gray suit.

I like that Lauren shell. I just bought 3 beautiful layering shells at Jones New York.com for $50 and free shipping too. (They’re having a 30% off Friends & Family event.) My Jones New York pieces last forever, but I have to be careful or I’ll end up looking 10 years older, style-wise!

Perfect! I will wear it under a velvet jacket with an iffy v-neck.

“Under a suit or a camisole” – don’t you mean “under a suit or a cardigan”?

This top is great.
