Steven by Steve Madden Sun Kiss HoboWe like this simple blue hobo by Steven — it’s a great size to fit your latest paperback or a few papers from the office, as well as all your stuff.  It comes in black, red and blue (at Endless) and brown (at Piperlime), but we love that dark blue color, pictured — perfect for one of the many (many) khaki or white trench coats we’ve seen this season.  It’s $198 at Endless for the blue, black or red (and the brown is $228 at Piperlime). Something about the leather stiched patchwork screams my 65 year old aunt to me. Pretty color though.

The patchwork makes me think about 1992… and I’m not sure that handle is big enough to carry the bag on my shoulder – and handbags are a pain to juggle.

I’m loving the hardware and the strap, but the patchwork is KILLING me!

I don’t mind the patchwork! Just a bit too big of a bag for the petite ladies!

Agreed. Nothing dates you like something from another time….there are classic purses, but this is not a “reissue” that I can stand behind.

I am not too fond of the bag but I disagree with all the “dated/1992″ comments. Much of what was “in” in the early 90′s is very much “in” again today (plaid, flannel, girly flower prints, etc.)

Oh, no, no, no.

Wow, I actually think this is beautiful. Maybe this is because I was young in the early 90s (too young to carry leather handbags at least).. I don’t have those associations when I see this purse.

Patchwork leather looks like it was made from scraps, and the stitch area catches dirt and germs.

Agree with the dislikers. This one brings more badassery, imho:
