Nope. No comments. :)
I have never seen a Treesje bag in person, and though I always hear good things, I can never quite pull the trigger online. Something about them has that trendiness that looks kinda cheap, like a Nine West bag.
I like it but it needs some color

Agree. “Slight rock star quality” is right, and that is not my thing.
I like the subdued grey but not the shape.
If it makes anyone feel any better about the lack of comments, I think that $350 is an insane amount of money to spend on a bag. I know that people do it, but still.
I don’t care for the bag, but I don’t necessarily agree with your comment. If you buy a well-made leather bag in a neutral color and fairly classic shape that you can carry every single day, the cost per wear of a $350 bag goes down pretty fast, and the construction and material will last longer than a cheaper bag.
I can’t afford to spend that much on a bag, personally, and if I could I’d probably go with something from Hobo International or Cole Haan, but I don’t think $350 is such a horrifying price point, especially on a site where $250 shoes are routinely recommended by commenters. You’re carrying a bag just as much as you’re wearing pumps.
I agree with you. I have only spent $250 on one pair of work shoes in my entire life, yet, every year and a half or so, I get a new and rather pricey (350 – 600) handbag that I carry every single day. I don’t HAVE to get a new one every year and a half (I have a stockpile of my past purses by now) but I like to get something new after that amount of time. I also never switch purses during the week or month. If I go out on the weekends, I may carry a clutch, but otherwise, it’s all the same bag for me. Which means that a $600 purse is costing me about a dollar a day. Totally worth it, IMO.
It all depends on your salary and your spending priorities. You can look at it as a dollar a day or $30 a month–which is what I pay for internet in my apartment. Compared that way, I think it seems like a lot of money. Or you could say “purse” v. weekend in the Caribbean (closer to the $500 mark). I have some fancy purses, but I do still feel like a purse is a purse is a purse. Some are nicer than others but I hardly think $350 is a bargain. That’d be a purse I thought long and hard about.
I don’t think it’s a bargain by any means, but I know that it’s something that I value and get a lot of use and enjoyment out of, which makes the dollar-per-day “worth it.” I agree with you about spending priorities – it sounds like we are exactly the opposite about it: I don’t have the internet at my house and I don’t take weekend vacations! Funny :)
