We are loving these shoes from Sofft as a vintagey alternative to a regular pump. The super high vamp makes them very walkable, but we think the way the vamp dips down will be more attractive than, say, a Mary Jane or t-strap shoe. We’re liking these comfortable flats from Dr. Scholl — heralded by a number of readers in this post as being super comfortable. We like the slight point to the toe, the circular buckle, and the number of different colors available — our favorites are these bronze ones (on sale for $56.70), but Zappos also has them in gunmetal, grey plaid, gold foil, and beige (Dr. Scholl’s – Graduate (Bronze Pulled PU) – Footwear). Endless also has them in a number of pastels, a red, and a few animal prints; in limited sizes they also have two black pairs (prices range from $38.47 to $69.95), and Shoebuy has much more sizes of the plain black ones available for $68.

Zappos seems to have a ton of designer totes on 25-30% discount today, including this lovely crossbody tote, which strikes us as a very rich looking, and functional bag for toting work papers. It’s 17.25″ wide, 5″ deep, and 12.5″ high — love the dotted lining and the chain detail on the detachable shoulder strap. It’s $395 (was $529) at Zappos Couture.

After today’s earlier post re: accessories, we went off in search of great belts — and found a ton of them at ShopBop. Today we’re particularly liking this vintage waist belt from Linea Pelle — great color and great loop/button details. Love the idea of it belted over a long black cardigan, light gray pants, and perhaps a few strands of white or gray pearls at the neckline, and perhaps a silver cuff, worn on top of the sweater sleeve.
