It bugs me that this dress is described as having “3/4 sleeves” since the sleeves pretty clearly don’t go past the model’s elbows. I would call these “ballet sleeves,” but hey. Either way: I like this navy dress, with pops of lime green throughout and a flattering vertical pattern.  I’m normally opposed to pockets on dresses (I just don’t find them to be very flattering or functional), but these actually look cute. Nordstrom’s Half-Yearly Sale has officially begun — I’ll be doing a fuller report later today, but for today’s TPS I really like this Tory Burch classic, the “shrunken Simone” cardigan. I’ve admired the Simone cardigan almost since beginning the blog, and season after season it returns, maybe in a slightly new iteration (such as the “shrunken” look here). I think it looks like the perfect cotton cardigan for summer, and the Half-Yearly Sale is a great time to pick it up at 33% off. Neiman Marcus is having some killer sales, allowing you to take an extra 30% off of their clearance stuff. For Splurge Monday, though, I’m in love with this Armani jacket. The dark teal-ly green is very on-trend for fall (green on green on green!) but I always think jewel tones like this are super flattering, and often subdued enough to be worn without a lot of thought in a conservative office. Love this one with the shawl collar, peplum flounce, and streamlined look. I’d probably wear it with neutral colors — navy, gray, maybe black — and perhaps a pair of purple pumps if I were really feeling wild. The jacket is $1895. Armani Collezioni Peplum Jacket

I love this fun, funky print from Pim + Larkin. The coral dots seem very “now,” and I like that they’re kind of abstract floating blobs instead of ordered little dots. AnneKlein.com has a ton of great things on sale, both from their lower line as well as their pricier Anne Klein Collection, including a ton of great dresses. I really love this black and white dress with a tulip skirt — the pleating at the bust, the draping on the skirt, the cap sleeves — it’s all so flattering. I don’t think I’ve featured an A-line flowy skirt for a while, and I really like this one from Pendleton. The abstract navy pattern looks gorgeous, and I like how there’s a defined waistband on it. CUSP by Neiman Marcus is having its “First Cuts Sale,” and there are a ton of great dresses from brands like DvF, Tory Burch, Milly, and more — primarily in lucky sizes. For today’s TPS I’m liking this Robert Rodriguez dress. Throw a cardigan or blazer on top of it and I can see it getting some serious wear in the office — yet for some reason I also get a Jazz Age garden party vibe (which I don’t even think is a thing). Loooove this dress from Akris Punto. I’m digging the asymmetrical V-neck look, which is described by the site as being a “modified” boatneck with a “vent” in it, which apparently has a concealed zipper.  I’m intrigued — does that mean you can lower or raise the depth of the V at will?
