Coffee Break – Orly Slingback

Sam Edelman OrlyI’ve known of the brand Sam Edelman for years, but it recently seems like they’re really stepping it up a notch, because they have a ton of great pumps out right now. I’m particularly liking this slingback pump (available in black, camel, a two tone white/camel, and a zebra stripe). The camel in particular looks like it would be a great shoe if it matches your leg color; the zebra also would add a lot of whimsy to an otherwise boring outfit. They’re $115 at Nordstrom. Coffee Break – 7/8″ Snake-embossed leather skinny belt

7/8" Snake-embossed leather skinny belt I like this basic gray skinny belt from Talbots — it’s a great way to add a bit of sophistication and interest to an otherwise boring outfit of pants and a blouse. Talbots has it in two colors: gray (pictured) for $42, and a cameo rose on sale for $19. Note that it does come in plus sizes… 7/8″ Snake-embossed leather skinny belt

Coffee Break – Cybil Peep Toes

Kate Spade New York - Cybil (Camel Suede) - FootwearThese aren’t exactly seasonal, which is probably why Zappos has them on sale today. Still: love the vintage vibe, the skinny heel, and the cutouts on the side. I’d probably go for the black suede, but these camel suede ones are gorgeous too, and just might be “nude” for some ladies. The were $298, now marked to $238.40 on Zappos Couture (limited sizes only). Kate Spade New York – Cybil (Camel Suede) – Footwear

Coffee Break – Wide Double Headband

France Luxe Wide Double Headband As weather starts to get hotter, you may want to think about putting your hair back (and off your face) in a professional way. I feel like headbands may be making a resurgence of late — and I love these double headbands on sale at France Luxe.  The “sand” color in particular seems like a great basic for women with blond or brunette locks. They were originally $40, and are now marked to $16.90. France Luxe Wide Double Headband

Readers, what are your opinions on headbands?  Do they still scream “Hillary Clinton in the 90s” to you, or are they more fashionable these days for women?

Coffee Break – Pacific Avenue Slouchy Tote

Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.

Juicy Couture Pacific Avenue Slouchy Tote in GoldI’m not usually a “Juicy” girl, but I really like the look of this slouchy tote.  Love the occasional quilting,  as well as the slightly shimmery look to the leather (which is called “gold,” not “beige” or the like).  (StyleBop has it in black, as well.)  At 14″ high by 8″ wide by 15″ long, this is a lot bigger than a lot of bags I would consider for everyday — but something about it just has a great “wear it with everything” look to it, even if you’re just carrying a paperback and your makeup. It’s $428 at Revolve, and $415 at StyleBop.  Juicy Couture Pacific Avenue Slouchy Tote in Gold

Coffee Break – Feel the Rhythm Pumps

Poetic Licence - Feel The Rhythm (Pink) - FootwearI really like the look of these Poetic Licence heels, high as they may be (4″ with a 3/4″ platform). I like the closed heel, as well as the fun colors — pink is pictured, but there’s a lovely blue/fuchsia combo, as well as a black/emerald green combo and a white/taupe combo. Zappos has many of them on sale today — the shoe was originally $134, but the pink combo is now marked to $107.20. Poetic Licence – Feel The Rhythm (Pink) – Footwear
