Happy Monday! I am loving this simple blazer from Akris. The color is unusual, but not so quirky that you’re limited in when you can wear it. I love (love!) the double pocket, as well as the darts for fit. I’d wear it with a burgundy silk blouse and, perhaps, brown pants. It’s $3,990 at Neiman Marcus (limited sizes only, alas). Akris has a number of scenic print dresses out right now, and I’m particularly loving this cotton shirt dress. Love the fitted style, the high, pointed collar, and the drawstring sleeves. We’re loving this sophisticated sheath dress from Akris. We like the mix of fabrics — the silk of the dress, the grosgrain of the belt, and the ribbon trimming the armholes and neckline — and we love the checkerboard patten, which almost reminds us of pixelated art.
