I’m really liking this square-necked dress from Antonio Melani. I like the darts and the fitted look, as well as the cap sleeves and the ladylike hem length. This strikes me as a great color blocked dress from Antonio Melani — I love a good empire waist, and the longer sleeves are unusual on a dress (even if they are only 3/4 sleeves). As far as accessories go, I might try to add a second color to the mix (since I hate wearing black with just one color) — perhaps a dark blue necklace, or even a red accent would be great. Love the simple cowl neck stretch knit top pictured here — the cowl neck is almost like a necklace or a scarf, and the fact that it has sleeves means you don’t have to do much more to accessorize it. Love the styling, too — the bun looks simple and classic, not schoolmarm-ish, and the hairstyle complements the bunched fabric at the base of the neck. Lovely.
