Black Halo Vamp Scuba Dress Something on your mind?  Chat about it here.

I have no idea where I’d wear this dress — a wedding, perhaps? — but I love it. (In fact, engaged ladies, do note: it is available in white, and wouldn’t it be a pretty rehearsal dinner dress?) Black Halo 'Gretchen' Cowl Neck Crepe Sheath DressBlack Halo has been around for years, but I haven’t noticed this sheath dress in their lineup before — love that cowl neck, the cap sleeves, and the ladylike length. The cowl neck, in particular, looks gorgeous — it’s not so cowl-y or low to be fussy, but it’s a different feature than I’ve seen on most sheath dresses. The silhouette reminds us of much more expensive dresses — David Meister and Black Halo on one end, Rouland Mouret on another — yet it’s somehow much more ladylike and less sexy than any of those designers.
