In the “sometimes a good sale is a curse” department, Endless is having an amazing sale on bags right now (ends today), including bags like Cole Haan, botkier, Rebecca Minkoff, Kate Spade, and more. Four separate Cole Haan bags are currently hurtling their way through the mail to me via free shipping. (Three are going back, I swear.) But: Yes. Good sale. One of the bags I bought was this Cole Haan bag, which I’ve lusted after in the department store — supremely soft, nice size for when you don’t need to carry papers or notebooks, and can go from work to weekend without much problem. Reader D sent us in this new-to-us Assouline/Cole Haan collaboration: a gorgeous bookbag, covered with numbers. (Assouline is a French book company, apparently.) Love. Love! Can we say: love? Endless has a lot of sales on Cole Haan handbags today, for some reason, including this lovely brown bag. We like the details (the feet, the technology pockets), as well as the general look of the bag. Oooo — we love these patent ballet flats from Cole Haan, with cute lacing up the back that is reminiscent of both shoelaces and corsetry all at the same time. We like the Estate Blue (pictured), but there’s a light purple for your more adventurous days and, of course, your basic black and neutral. They’re $138 at Endless.com. You know, it has been far too long since we expressed our love for purple shoes. (Unless we’re crazy and we did it last week, in which case, our apologies.) They go with navy and black, they add a dose of funk (in a conservative way), and, in general, they’re great.
