This strikes me as a great color blocked dress from Antonio Melani — I love a good empire waist, and the longer sleeves are unusual on a dress (even if they are only 3/4 sleeves). As far as accessories go, I might try to add a second color to the mix (since I hate wearing black with just one color) — perhaps a dark blue necklace, or even a red accent would be great. The dress is $159 at Dillard’s. Antonio Melani “Inez” Dress

This strikes me as a great silk blouse — the fit is flattering, the cut is interesting (love those split dolman sleeves), and the print seems typical from afar, but is actually fairly whimsical up close. Love it. I’d try it with a turtleneck or something with long sleeves beneath it. It’s $128 at Dillards in sizes 0-12 — free shipping on orders of $99+ when you use your Dillards card. Today we’re loving this simple A-line silk skirt. Love the basketweave pattern; love the graphic black and white combination, and love that it’s an A-line. We’d wear it with a pale blue blouse, a white blazer, and nude pumps. It’s $119 at Dillards. Antonio Melani “Arani” Skirt

Love the simple cowl neck stretch knit top pictured here — the cowl neck is almost like a necklace or a scarf, and the fact that it has sleeves means you don’t have to do much more to accessorize it. Love the styling, too — the bun looks simple and classic, not schoolmarm-ish, and the hairstyle complements the bunched fabric at the base of the neck. Lovely. Was $69, now $41.40 at Dillards (in citrine and in black
). Antonio Melani “May” Knit Top

For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional.
It seems like eons since we’ve seen a good looking A-line skirt suit, so we sat up and took notice when we saw this one at Dillards. We like color of the “light coffee bean stretch sharkskin” fabric, and the fact that it’s a mix of wool and spandex doesn’t hurt either. The seaming details throughout are nice, as well as the double pocket flaps. The jacket (Antonio Melani “Struss” Jacket
) is $199, the skirt (Antonio Melani “Betse” Skirt
) is $99, and the pants (not pictured, Antonio Melani “Maxine” Pants
) are $129.

We found this fabulous hunter green herringbone suiting collection through the dress, actually — we nearly posted it as a TPS by itself and then realized it had matching pieces. Still: LOVE the dress, the high neckline, the nipped waist — and even the slight cap sleeves, which won’t bunch up under your jacket but allow you to take your jacket off and roam the halls. The green herringbone is an interesting fabric, as well — we’d wear the pieces as separates and accent with black, navy, cream pieces — or even a dark purple. The jacket (Antonio Melani “Adam” Jacket
) is $199, the dress (Antonio Melani “Nasira” Dress
) is $159, and the pants and skirt (not pictured) are $129 (Antonio Melani “Antonio” Pants
) and $99 (Antonio Melani “Katie” Skirt
