K Karl Lagerfeld

Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.
The Outnet has some lovely blazers at great prices right now. We’re liking this K Karl Lagerfeld wool-blend tailored blazer — the details on the lapels, the structure of the jacket, and yes, even the slightly shiny finish.  Although we’re not sure we could do an entire suit out of a shiny finish (although they do have some matching pants), as an addition to an otherwise sedate outfit, it would be great.  For some reason we’re thinking we’d incorporate purple or yellow into the look.  Was $425, now $170; available in navy and black in sizes 4-10. Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices. We begin the week in splurge mode, with our most expensive suggestions, and wind our way to Friday, where a less expensive item of clothing might be just what you need to make it to the weekend.

If you’re building a work wardrobe, the black tailored jacket is one you can’t live without. Sure, you can go for one on the cheaper side (as we showed in The Hunt a while ago) — but it’s a piece that you’ll wear so often that it makes sense to invest in a designer label. We lurve this Lagerfeld tailored jacket, available now at Net-a-Porter for $730. The diagonal stitching on the front of the jacket is unique and interesting, without ruining the “staple” aspect of the jacket; we also love the double Ks on the button.
