Leifsdottir has had some amazing sales lately, including this gorgeous blouse, inspired by the works of Miro. (Love his Blue Series.) For the blouse, I like the silk jacquard, the flattering V-neck, and the the intriguing, asymmetric pleats at the neckline. I always like a cardigan for a casual day, and I love this creamy Leifsdottir cardigan with an ombre artsy pattern on it. I’d wear it as a layering piece with an otherwise boring outfit — say, a navy pencil skirt and a white silk tee — and perhaps pick up one of the colors in the cardigan in my pumps, such as the pink. This is a gorgeous jacquard jacket from Leifsdottir. We love the paperbag waist, the ruching at the neckline, the puffed sleeves, and the bright, happy — yet still fall-appropriate — color. And best of all, the price: it’s available at Nordstrom for $228. We’d wear it with a t-shirt or tank beneath it on a warmer day, or a black or navy turtleneck beneath it on a cool day.
