Cashmere Twisted Cable CardiganThis cashmere cardigan (a Neiman Marcus exclusive) is new to the sale section, and I think we have that to thank for the number of sizes still left. I like the interesting twist detail at the collar, and like the lines of the cardigan — I’ve decided the waterfall cardigans look best when they’re longer in the front and shorter in the back, but this one isn’t too short. It’s available in teal (pictured), black, and snowflake, in S-XL — and for good cashmere it’s a steal: was $415, now $145 at Neiman Marcus. Cashmere Twisted Cable Cardigan

Albert Nipon Belted Cool Wool SkirtsuitFor busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional.

I am normally not a fan of the short-sleeved suit, but every so often one comes along that really looks gorgeous.  I love the nipped-in waist look to this one, as well as the wide, short short sleeves.  The website doesn’t explain “Cool Wool,” but I like the idea of it — short-sleeved suits in general are great for when it’s blisteringly hot outside.  Was $280, now $98, available at Neiman Marcus (limited sizes only). Two-Tone Belted SuitFor busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. This suit reminds me of something Kate Hepburn would have worn — it’s simple, beautiful, and flattering.  I might swap a different belt (perhaps one with color), or perhaps even add a scarf (tucked into the jacket so only the bit framing your face shows — either one with color or perhaps a wispy white one), but that’s me.  The suit (Two-Tone Belted Suit) is $498 at Neiman Marcus.

Lela Rose Ribbon-Stripe SkirtNeiman Marcus is having some crazy sales in its sales section. For the most part, only lucky sizes are left, but boy are they lucky! I am loving this ribbon-striped skirt from Lela Rose, which looks like it could be accessorized for all seasons. Was $695, marked to $243, with an extra 30% off – the prices comes to 170.10. Kym Military Long JacketThe military trend is hot this season but, to be honest, I haven’t been feeling it — olive can just be too drab. This coat, however, is gorgeous — love the floral embroidery, the swing to the jacket, the stand collar — and it’s made of fleece, so you know it’s ridiculously comfortable. It looks like the perfect coat for the a casual day to and from the office. It’s $208 at Neiman Marcus.  Kym Military Long Jacket
