We love this lightweight sheath dress. The color of the gray feels more spring than fall to us, and the flower applique on the belt helps that impression. (We’re guessing the belt can be removed pretty easily if you don’t like the look, although you might try to save the flower to wear as a brooch.) We’d wear it with a structured jacket or, perhaps, a cardigan (the yellow cashmere one from Banana Republic that we featured week or so ago, for example). We’re loving this sweet, simple silk blouse from Theory. The sleeves have the perfect amount (or lack of) pouf, and we like the banded collar. We also really like the way the blouse kind of looks like either dots or an ocelot pattern, but is more abstract than either of those things up close. Love the color, the detailing at the waist, and we even feel like the little bow/sash hanging down gives the dress some vertical lines, making it more slimming. Love. Happy Thursday! Today we’re liking this cashmere merino wool cowl neck sweater. It strikes us as a great transition piece as we swing into spring, and we like the way the cowl almost looks like an infinity scarf around the neck.
