This strikes us as a lovely dress — in a bold color. We’d probably mute this for everyday office wear — a tweedy khaki-colored blazer, or a cable-knit gray sweater — we think we’d want to add texture as well as a more mild color. For more important events when you want to be noticed, though, we’d gussy it up with black or white accents, to emphasize the crisp, sharp color. We like this cool black suit from Pink Tartan. Love the way the jacket is super shaped when it’s closed, love the way it looks cool and casual in that boxy Chanel way when open. We’re intrigued by the fact that it’s cotton linen and has interior slash pockets. And yes, we like the exposed zipper. Today we’re liking this great tweed suit from Pink Tartan. We like the folded collar, which gives it that cool “popped” look, and all the other little details, like the piping, the pocket on the front hip, and the off-center slit in the back.
