Classiques Entier® Raw Edge Collar JacketiconLove the super-staturated fuschia color of this jacket — what fun. The raw-edge detail on the lapels is beautiful, and I like the ruffled, three-quarter length cuffs. I’d wear it with a sedate sheath dress or pair of trousers, or — if I were in an adventurous mood — I might incorporate some orange in the mix, either as a tank top, a necklace, or even a patterned skirt with significant orange coloring. (I think a solid-colored orange skirt would be a bit too… too for this pink, but that’s me.) It’s $228 at Nordstrom (sizes XS-XL). Classiques Entier® Raw Edge Collar Jacket

Halogen® Seamed Knit SkirticonYesterday, readers were singing the praises of this great seamed knit skirt from Nordstrom — love that it comes in 6 colors (including fever pink, pictured, as well as black, gray, “grapevine” purple, “cadet” blue, and “chalet” green). It’s fully-lined, has lots of stretch, and comes in sizes 0-16 (reportedly running a bit large). Lovely. It’s $68 at Nordstrom. Halogen® Seamed Knit Skirt

Staring at Stars Printed Pleat Neck Silk BlouseHappy Friday! Today I’m digging this abstract, crosshatchy printed silk blouse from Urban Outfitters. Love the silk, the pleats, the button at the back of the neck, and the slightly puffed sleeves — I always think that type of sleeve can look cute when layered on top of, say, a simple white long-sleeved crewneck for colder weather, or worn with just a camisole beneath it (which I’m guessing is needed) for warmer months. The blouse is only available online at Urban Outfitters, for the reasonable-ish price of $48. Staring at Stars Printed Pleat Neck Silk Blouse

Ruffled Trim TeeThis is a great basic for in-between weather because you can layer it with a cardigan or jacket, but you don’t look like you forgot your outfit if you get hot and take it off. We like the variety of colors (the pink, the baby blue, but also a dark navy and a white), as well as the sizes (XXS through XXL are still left in most colors) — and then comes the price: was $29, now $19.99, take an additional 40% off at checkout with code SAVE40. NICE. Exclusively online at Ann Taylor Loft.  Ruffled Trim Tee

Michael Stars Short Sleeve Scoop Neck Tee T-shirtBare Necessities is having a great sale, and all clearance items are marked an EXTRA 50% off. We like their selection of basic t-shirts, and it strikes us as one of the few places where you can reliably find a number of different high-end t-shirt brands marked to 65-75% off. The pictured scoop neck tee is from Michael Stars, and comes in black, white, gray, purple, two shades of brown, and two shades of pink. We’d wear it beneath a suit, or in the winter beneath a cashmere or wool sweater (wearing a t-shirt with sleeves helps you get more wears out of the sweater before you have to launder it). It was $46, now marked to $11.49 at Bare Necessities.  Michael Stars Short Sleeve Scoop Neck Tee T-shirt

Diane von Furstenberg Marchona DressToday we’re loving this jersey dress from Diane von Furstenberg.  Love the interesting seam at the waist, and the bit of pleating below it.  The shoulders are also interesting — one is pleated, and the other has an exposed zipper (which, because it’s on your shoulder, avoids the concern expressed by some readers  that men in your office will think you’re inviting them to unzip you).  We think the dress is a lot of fun in pink and would be great paired with a gray blazer for the office — but we also love the dress in black.  It’s $325 at Shopbop.
