Reiss Bella CASHMERE MIX JUMPER LIGHT KHAKI Cashmere sweaters are probably not on your mind right now, but summer is a great time to get things like this on sale. Today I’m loving this cashmere sweater from Reiss (which actually has some great sales going on right now). The pattern is a bit fun without being over the top, and a cotton cashmere mix is great for early fall and late spring. I’d keep the outfit neutral for the office, wearing a black or white collared shirt beneath the sweater and a simple pencil skirt, perhaps accessorized with a long silver necklace. It was $175, now $87 (note that it’s also available in solid colors such as royal blue and cream). Reiss Bella CASHMERE MIX JUMPER

Floral-Print Pencil Skirt iconI remember the days when White House | Black Market only sold black and white items — but it seems like the past few seasons they have been incorporating a bit of one color into each collection. This season it’s the lovely blue in this skirt (also in the shoes; there’s also belts and necklaces). I like the simplicity of the skirt, and the abstract nature of the pattern — worn with a black or white top and a black blazer, there’s nothing overly feminine about it. I might add purple pumps to the mix, just for a bit of color fun, but that’s me. The skirt is $88 at White House | Black Market. Floral-Print Pencil Skirt

BCBGMAXAZRIA Printed Silk Dress
Today, I’m liking this dress from BCBGMaxAzria — the abstract pattern is fun, and I love that color of blue. At 35.5″ long, I would also hope that the dress would be long enough for those of us who aren’t model-height. I’d wear it with nude pumps in the spring and a long silver necklace, or perhaps with black tights, black suede pumps, and a long boyfriend cardigan in the winter. It’s $238 at Lord & Taylor. Pucci blue geometric print wool-silk wrapOoooh — I’ve wanted something Pucci for a while, and today may be the day: this gorgeous wrap (and a few others) are on sale today at Bluefly (take an extra 15% off cold weather sale). Love the blues and pinks, that little fringe, and the versatility of a wrap — gorgeous. Was $420, marked to $285 today. (It’s also available in a red/beige and a black/white.) Banana Republic Serengeti wrap dressLoving this great silk and viscose wrap dress — with sleeves! amazing! — from Banana Republic.  We like the V-neck, the abstract print — and did we mention that it has sleeves?  We’d tone down the print for work by pairing it with more conservative accessories like a classic strand of pearls and a pair of basic pumps in black, brown, or nude.  It’s $120 at Banana Republic.  Banana Republic Serengeti wrap dress

Banana Republic Watercolor wrap dressWe’re loving this gray silk blend dress from Banana Republic.  The watercolor print is interesting without being distracting (and: bonus points for being vaguely vertical, which is always flattering), and we love the high neckline.  We’d wear it with a fairly structured neutral blazer for work and skin-toned shoes.  It’s $120 at Banana Republic.   Banana Republic Watercolor wrap dress
