We’re loving this purse on sale at Vivre. It’s Michael Kors, python (we’re not sure where PETA falls on that issue) and while it looks slightly like a classic Chanel, it a) costs far less (it’s on sale also) and b) clearly is not trying to be a Chanel. If you attend a lot of black tie events for your company, you do want to eventually invest in a classy, classically shaped, rich bag like this so you can rub shoulders with the millionaires you’re sitting amongst — and this isn’t a bad start at all. Happy Monday! This beautiful black deco-inspired frame bag from Isabella Fiore is our recommended splurge of the day. Professional — you can easily take this to lunch with a client — but it’s a piece of art. Although it looks like a teeny clutch in the picture at right, it’s actually big enough for your wallet, phone, Blackberry, iPod, etc… (And, as far as bags go these days, not that expensive at $429.)
