Happy Thursday! Today we’re liking this cashmere merino wool cowl neck sweater. It strikes us as a great transition piece as we swing into spring, and we like the way the cowl almost looks like an infinity scarf around the neck. We’d probably wear it with a brooch, and perhaps try a belt over it as well. It’s on sale at Nordstrom’s — was $128, now $75, still available in sizes S-XL in red and a dusky blue. We are loving this gorgeous draped dress from Michael Kors. We love the way it blouses over the tied waist, the way it drapes in a ladylike way in the back, and the way you could throw a navy blazer or cardigan over it for the day. Talbots is having some pretty good sales, but it’s primarily lucky-size territory. (Sizes 10 and up, get yourselves over there and poke around.) For today’s TPS, we like this jacket — an interesting print to wear once in a while, and we like a touch of spandex in a jacket. We love this large satchel/tote (8″ shoulder drop) from Cole Haan, with its woven leather exterior, and rich, sophisticated red color — we even love the name of the red: Lacquer Red. We gotta say, we don’t normally like to wear shoes by Steve Madden — but for some reason we find these irresistible. We love the rich red, the contrast stitching on the cutouts, the buckle, and even the fun blue lining. They strike us as modern but also a bit vintage; sort of a mix between an oxford and a gladiator. Love ‘em. We’d wear them with gray trousers and a black blouse at the office, perhaps with another color in the mix — a purple necklace, a yellow brooch. They’re $49.50 at Zappos.com.
