Parker Long Sleeve Ruffle BlouseShopBop has a ton of great sales going on, including this silk ruffled blouse. This strikes me as a classic — yes it’ll be in sometimes (like right now with ruffles) and out sometimes (I’m sure at least one commenter will call out “pirate!”), but ultimately this is a look that will swing back around every few years, so it’ a good investment. I’d wear it with a gray pencil skirt and, perhaps, a textured, colorful blazer — purple velvet, perhaps.  Was $187, now $93.50 at ShopBop. Parker Long Sleeve Ruffle Blouse

DKNY Knee Length SkirtFabulous skirt from DKNY — it’s a slight A-line with leather trim on the hip pockets and waist. I also love that ShopBop has styled it with black tights and shoes — what a great way to demonstrate navy and black together. For some reason, I’m seeing this with a crisp white shirt, perhaps tucked in and belted with a wide belt. The skirt is $175 at ShopBop.com. DKNY Knee Length Skirt

Club Monaco Lexi ShirtClub Monaco has finally entered the online shopping arena, opening a boutique on ShopBop.com. We lurve this silk-chiffon blouse — the neutral color, the bloused sleeves, the slight pouf to the shoulders, the mandarin collar — we even like the shirttail hem. We’d wear it with a white camisole beneath it and, while it looks great tucked, we might try it worn untucked and belted. It’s $119 at ShopBop (sizes XS-L). Club Monaco Lexi Shirt

Alice + Olivia Hunter Peplum BlazerHappy Monday!  We are loving this deceptively simple blazer from Alice + Olivia.  At first glance, it looks like your basic gray tweed blazer — but on closer inspection you notice the velvet trim, the flounced peplum waist , and the slight shaping to the shoulders.  Fabulous.  We’d wear it with a pencil skirt, or perhaps a high-waisted pant.  It’s $440 at Shopbop.com.  Alice + Olivia Hunter Peplum Blazer

Marc by Marc Jacobs Damisi Patchwork Leola SatchelI’m always a fan of Marc by Marc Jacobs bags, and this lovely satchel is no different — LOVE the print on the inside, the numerous pockets, and the size.  I’m normally not a brown-purse kind of gal, but the caramel color strikes me as just right.  It’s $369 (was $528) at ShopBop.  Marc by Marc Jacobs Damisi Patchwork Leola Satchel

After today’s earlier post re: accessories, we went off in search of great belts — and found a ton of them at ShopBop. Today we’re particularly liking this vintage waist belt from Linea Pelle — great color and great loop/button details. Love the idea of it belted over a long black cardigan, light gray pants, and perhaps a few strands of white or gray pearls at the neckline, and perhaps a silver cuff, worn on top of the sweater sleeve. It’s $84 at ShopBop. Linea Pelle Vintage Waist Belt
