If you’re a fan of prints, get the best quality clothes you can afford — preferably designer. There are two reasons for this: first, prints are more memorable, and you’d surely prefer everyone thinking, “Oh, there’s Susie wearing her St. John blouse again,” rather than, “Geez, Susie loves that Old Navy top.” Furthermore, you frequently get what you pay for with designer prints in that the details of the garment, like the seams, are designed to work with the print.
