By the time you reach vice-president, or partner, you have some wardrobe leeway. If, that is, you’ve loosened the stricture of corporate dress code gradually over the years. You can wear color beyond navy and pattern beyond foulard.
I am a happy new owner of this Tory Burch silk jersey frock and can confirm that with a navy jacket or cardigan, and a pair of navy ballet flats, it will work for non-courtroom, non-big-scary-mean-client-days in almost any office. The colors are deeper than the web images would suggest. The silk jersey is quite heavy and luxurious, but wouldn’t suffer from a little bit of shapewear underneath. Runs true to size. The dress is $425 at Tory Burch. Audra Dress

I saw this basic polo shirt at a Tory Burch preview a few weeks ago, and loved it immediately — it’s preppy and feminine but classic, and the tall collar would look great under a blazer. I think it would be a great top, whether with skirts or trousers. It’s available in poppy (pictured), navy and white for $95 at Saks. Lidia Ruffled Polo Top

Happy Monday! I’m liking this beautiful wrap-around dress from Tory Burch. Love the gathered bodice and self-belt, as well as the ladylike length. For the office I’d wear it with a structured, closely fitted blazer on top — perhaps in a white or navy — and closed-toe, nude-for-me pumps. Saks has the “purple chickadee” print (pictured); note that Tory Burch’s website also has it in a navy “featherfan” print. It’s $388 at both. Tory Burch Theona Printed Silk Wrap-Around Dress

I was recently sent this pair of Tory Burch flats, and between the color, the comfort, and the style, I’m honestly loving them. First: hello, one of my favorite colors of blue. (We actually have one wall of our bedroom painted this color, I love it so much.) I’ve also found it great for pairing with my yellow purse, a purple cardigan, a large, dangly pair of mint green earrings — love. Second, this shoe stays on, whereas all other flats tend to flop off my feet (narrow ankles, I suspect). They just kind of suction themselves to my feet, and there’s no rubbing or chafing anywhere. Finally: COMFORT. These almost feel a bit like slippers on the comfort level, to be honest — sometimes I’ll even forget I have them on. All colors (including the royal blue) are available at Tory Burch; they’re also available (in limited colors) at Shopbop
, Saks, and Bloomingdale’s
, all for $178.

Note: I received the shoes free of charge from the company. If you’re curious, you can find Corporette’s Review Policy here.

Tory Burch is having some great sales, including this fun tweed jacket in hot pink. We like that it’s a younger take on what can often be an older look, and we like the contrast piping. For work we’d layer it with a slightly longer, hip-length top (sweaters always look the neatest, but a a nice simple blouse would be great also) and something simple, like bootcut black trousers. Was $495, now $247.50 at ToryBurch.com (lots of sizes still left as of this AM). Roscoe Jacket

We’re liking this interesting Tory Burch dress, recently reduced at Bloomingdale’s. We’d wear it with neutral shoes and, perhaps, white or silver accessories for springtime. Was $395, now $276 (size medium only); use code FFMARCH at checkout for another 20% off (Friends & Family discount). Tory Burch ‘Jereni’ Silk Dress
