6 Etsy Shops for Unique Holiday Gifts

Shopping on Etsy for gifts is a lot of fun, but it can be overwhelming (a search for “silver earrings,” for example, brings up more than 1,000,000 results), so today we’ve rounded up six Etsy shops for unique holiday gifts. We’re featuring a few intriguing items from each store and we’ve included details on shipping — because somehow, it’s already November. (Here are the Etsy editors’ picks in their Holiday Gift Guide.)

Psst: We’ve also shared seven of the best shops on Etsy for workwear.

These six Etsy shops are good bets for holiday gifts — even for those hard-to-buy-for people you know. Readers, which are your favorite Etsy shops, whether for gifts for coworkers, friends, or family?

Thursday’s Workwear Report: Split-Neck Pleated Blouse

Our daily workwear reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.

I noted last week that The Limited is back up and running — and this split-neck pleated blouse looks nice. It’s not too voluminous but is still very loose and comfortable. I think the neckline would look really great under a blazer, too. It comes in the pictured red as well as olive green, black, and coral in XS–XL, and it’s on sale for $29 from $69. It’s also available in sizes 0X–3X for $39 (from $79), but in a different set of colors: coral, off-white, black, and red (although the red shade is “merlot” instead of … “goji berry”). Split Neck Pleated Blouse

Suit of the Week: Hobbs

For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional.

This jacket and dress from Hobbs look like great options. They’re lined and machine washable, the jacket is a two-button style with two side flap pockets, and the dress has a lovely seamed bodice effect. In general, Hobbs gets great reviews. The jacket (Catherine Jacket) is $335, and the dress (Catherine Dress) is $285, both at Bloomingdale’s. At Hobbs, the pants (Catherine Pants) are $285 as well.

Here’s a more affordable option and a navy suit in plus sizes.

Wednesday’s Workwear Report: Long-Sleeved Sheath Dress in Stretch Ponte

Our daily workwear reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.

This fabulous ponte dress is from J.Crew. I love the V-neck and the darts along the front — and we’re picturing it in red but note that it also comes in black. It’s available in regular, petite, and tall sizes, and the straight sizes go all the way from 00 to 20, which is great. It’s $118 full price, but as we all know, J.Crew will often have sales, so keep an eye out. Long-Sleeved Sheath Dress in Stretch Ponte

Here’s a plus-size option.
