I’m drooling…
I have a very similar pair, also from Bruno M., with an almost identical heel.
I love the way they look. But, I have to say, comfort wise they are only so-so (compare to other similar heels), and the heel also feels surprisingly wobbly. Given that it’s hardly a stilleto, I was very surprised by its un-sturdiness. Just thought I’d mention, in case anyone is considering the purchase.
PS: The leather is very, very nice!
boy, that sure looks like a stilletto to me – but I’m a major comfortable shoe fan and I am pretty sure I would break my ankle if I tried to wear this for any extended period of time… but I accept that lots of more coordinated people seem to do so with ease.
A nice, classic pick. Investment shoes.
They are just beautiful.
It’s soooo basic, I don’t know that I’d be willing to pay even $190 for something so plain.
I agree @Liz. Meh. Me no likey, even if it is Bruno Magli. It seems cut high on the foot above the toes, which gives it a dowdy look (and would make my short legs look stubby). That shoe needs a bow, a peeptoe, a cut out,a slingback or _sumthin’_!
I like this BM better, and it’s cheaper: http://www.endless.com/dp/B00243GCV2?_encoding=UTF8&tag=wwwcorporette-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00243GCV2#__asin=B000MFDIZM&ref=dp_sbs_1
I am not defending these shoes per se, but I , for one, am glad to see a plain pair for a change. I am beyond sick of every shoe nowadays having some godawful bow, or some patent leather “accent”, or gromets, or whatever the hell, on it. It’s gotten to the point where simple just can’t be found — either in bags or in shoes . Sometimes classic clean lines are nice!
I just bought a pair of Bruno Magli black 2.25″ croc skin shoes – they look like very well cut loafers on top but are extremely dressy heels & perfect with pants. The most comfy heels I’ve worn !
Love the ones above but scared of the too slim/too high (for me) heel.
Very nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Off topic discount coupon: Extra 20% off intimates at Sears with printable coupon or coupon code. They are already having a 30 – 50% off sale, so there could be some good prices here if you buy your unmentionables there. Sears has some pretty good, basic brands of bras and panties, I’ve found.

I love that the shoes are not patent leather. Too many black pumps nowadays are patent, and it’s difficult to find something like this in a slightly lower price range in a classic ‘matte’ leather.
I agree, I have too many patent shoes because so few these days are made of plain ol’ leather!
Does anyone have a rec for something like this but in brown? I find I have so many black shoes and never seem to find brown- a dark brown though.
