Suit of the Week

This is a great basic suit for spring, summer, and fall — we love the double-edged collar, the darts for shaping, and the simple and clean skirt. The “acorn” color is a nice counterpart to white or pastel shirts in the spring and darker blues and blacks in the summer and fall. We'd even try it with a simple red t-shirt or blouse if we were feeling a bit saucy. The jacket is available at Dillards for $199 (Antonio Melani “Oceana” Jacket) and the skirt is available for $119 (Antonio Melani “Perch” Skirt).

(For some reason, the Dillards website is showing you pants instead of the skirt, even though we don't think the pants that are shown match the skirt. We've tried to bring it to the company's attention.)

  1. This suit seems a bit outdated. I don’t know if it’s just the model’s stance, but the suit just doesn’t seem well-made. It looks cheap.

  2. eh – the double-edged collar is not my style. like double-breasted suits, on a petite frame, it can over-take the wearer.
