Thursday’s TPS Report: Semantiks Stretch Wool Skirt

Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.
Today, we’re liking this paneled wool skirt from Nordstrom’s. We like the knee-grazing length of it, as well as the flattering A-line shape — it’s a perfect basic for the winter. It’s $78 at Nordstrom’s, available in sizes 2 through 16. Semantiks Stretch Wool Skirt

Suit of the Week: Semantiks Mélange Suit

We really like this black and white combo suit from Semantiks, available at Nordstrom. The piping on the jacket is interesting without being distracting, and the cut of the suit is feminine without being frou-frou. The Semantiks Mélange Jacket is $138, and the Semantiks ‘Moonlit’ Mélange Trousers are $88. There’s a coordinating Semantiks ‘Moonlit’ Mélange Pencil Skirt, also, priced at $68.

Suit of the Week: Semantiks “Splash Pool”

We like the fitted look of this “chocolate-hued tweed” suit by Semantiks, from Nordstrom. Inset waist, darted bodice, usable pockets, and the lack of cuffs of the trousers — all things we like to see in a suit. Also, the pattern of the tweed (close-up below) is beautiful. The Semantiks ‘Splash Pool’ Jacket is available for $148, and the Semantiks ‘Splash Pool’ Wide Leg Trousers are available in regular and plus sizes for $88.
