Thursday’s TPS Report: Sofft Calypso Pumps

Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices. We begin the week in splurge mode, with our most expensive suggestions, and wind our way to Friday, where a less expensive item of clothing might be just what you need to make it to the weekend.
The weather is getting warmer, and a great habit to develop is to take a twenty minute walk at lunch to clear your head, get away from your computer, and get a bit of exercise in your day. Comfortable walking shoes are a must, but then, you don't want to advertise the fact (in this economy!) that you're leaving your desk by putting on big white shoes. Our advice? I dont think the flower is work-appropriate or, for that matter, cute at all. Good thought though, w. re to the comfortable shoe point.
I have a pair of Soffts (not this particular style) and, while they are more comfortable than regular heels, they aren’t long walk comfortable. I would recommend a pair of ballet flats if you want to walk on your lunch hour over these.
I’m sorry but I don’t like these at all! These are shoes my grandmother would wear… not chic or modern at all.
Sketchers makes a great black sneaker that looks more like a dress shoe. I wouldn’t wear it as a “work shoe” but it is a great shoe to throw on to walk around the block w/o having people notice your shoes on your way out the door. Also, it is still almost professional so you could pull it off for a hand delivery without killing your feet in your heels. Where I work the sidewalks are in bad shape and it is a given that nobody walks outside in their work shoes. For one it is dangerous and two the heel would break.
