Linea Pelle Dylan Large Shoulder Bag (Fall)Update: Please note that the giveaway contest is closed — but the discount codes will be good through 8/31/2011!

I've been a fan of Linea Pelle leather goods since I discovered them a few years ago, and I'm proud to announce a giveaway for Corporette readers! The Dylan Large Shoulder Bag (which retails for $415) has a 9.5″ drop on the handle, gold hardware, and tons of pockets. As always, I love a fun lining, and the zebra one here is great. For fall, the bag is available in tmoro (pictured), black, crimson, and a dark blue “midnight.”

The good folks at Linea Pelle have extended a 20% off code just for Corporette readers:  LPCORP20 for any full-price purchase of $150 or more (and get free ground shipping with code G3FREESHIP) (both offers good through 8/31/11).

The Rules: Comment on this post (including your email address), telling us where you'd wear the bag. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, August 23. Winner gets to choose the color. You must include your email in the comment so you can be contacted by Kat in the event you win the giveaway. 1. Ideal bag for everyday business of life, work, and travel. It’s professional, upscale, and practical. Win-win-win.

  2. I’d wear it to class to dress up my student wardrobe full of thrift store and clearance items!

  3. I would wear it to the 12-hour mountain bike race I’m doing this Fall! It’s large enough to hold my bike shorts, jersey, etc. (Oh, and I would definitely wear it to work, too.)

  4. Looks like a great work bag. Big enough to carry everything back and forth without being bulky.

  5. I’m an equestrian and the color pictured reminds me of the gorgeous saddle I own for my horse…so naturally I’d be taking it to the barn.

JK! Would never ruin a beautiful thing like this at the stables!

However, I am also a third-year law student starting to interview for after-graduation positions, so I would LOVE a gorgeous piece like this for my first real J-O-B!!!

  6. Great weekend bag – I love slouchy bags on weekends when I’ll be out all day and can have everything I need handy!

  7. This could easily become an everyday bag for me as well — for work, classes, the weekends, and day trips. It would function like a tote bag but oh so much better and infinitely more beautiful, and it would transition easily from grocery shopping to dinner out. That “tmoro” color is gorgeous but I am a fan of the “midnight” color as well.

  8. I love the midnight blue. Perfect way to give a bit of pizzazz to my mostly-black work wardrobe, and a great transition piece from day to night!

  9. I would carry it (in crimson) throughout the streets of NYC during my first trip there next month! Then I’d use it for a great weekend bag – trips to the wineries, shopping, and drinks with my girlfriends.

  10. I just got a brand-new job as a communication director for a state education department, and I’m dying to find the perfect bag to schlep things to and from the office–I think this just might be the one!

  11. Ode to Dylan Bag

Where would I wear thee, beautiful Dylan bag?
In midnight, on a warm summer day
At the beach or at the zoo
In black, on a crisp fall evening
At the theater or traveling on the train to Waterloo
In crimson, at snowy winter twilight
It would brighten my mood when I’m blue
In tmoro, on a sprightly spring afternoon,
At the mall, shopping for the perfect shoe!

  12. Where wouldn’t I wear it? This bag is beautiful. I especially love the fun lining and the rich tmoro color. This is a great givaway; thanks!

  13. I’d wear it sightseeing in Munich this fall with my friend. It looks big enough to hold my laptop (that I will sadly need to schlep around) and stuff for the day, without screaming “tourist”.

  14. This bag looks perfect for business trips- I could fit in all my travel stuff and still look professional at the same time. Love it!

  15. I think this would be the perfect bag for me to use to conceal evidence for my criminal defense clients. Just kidding!

In all seriousness, I think this is a beautiful bag! I would definitely wear it to work at my firm and I think it would be the perfect bag to fit my files and paperwork. I would also wear it out on the weekends, shopping, brunch, etc. I think this truly is the perfect go-with-anything bag!

  16. This bag is a fantastic city bag! I am moving to DC in a week and I imagine wearing this bag around town to museums, farmer’s markets, yoga, and hunting down the infamous food trucks. This looks like a “fun” bag to me so I would try not to wear it at work, but I would use it as a transitional piece from work to after-work happy hours or dates!

  17. I’d definitely take this bag with me to check out some of the fantastic restaurants around my new city – Washington D.C.

  18. This would be a beautiful bag for almost any occasion, but I’d feel particularly hip using this bag on my frequent trips to NYC!

  19. I’d wear this to work–beautiful bag with lots of room to store all of the things I need to lug around on a daily basis!

  20. I’d carry it to law school classes – it looks big enough to cram a case book and everything else I haul around all day inside!

  21. Love the bag, I would take it with me shopping on the weekends, looks like I could chuck a bunch of stuff into it (I hate carrying lots of little bags).

  22. Love the brown color! This would be my new everyday bag – I’d wear it everywhere I go!

  23. Great bag! I especially love the crimson and midnight colors, and I think I’d use it as a general weekend purse – it looks perfect for shopping, going out for dinner, day trips, etc.

  24. Fancy bags are out of the question for at least the next little while for me… This bag would make me feel chic at work, despite the morning sickness that I try to balance between work and doctors appointments for this first-time mom-to-be!

  25. I’d wear it to work for sure – it’s certainly formal enough around here, and it seems like it would transition very nicely if I wanted to grab dinner with friends afterward. Love that color as well!

I hope I win! (I never win this kind of thing!) My life could use a pick me up right about now, and I don’t think I’ve ever even held a $400 handbag.

  26. Everywhere! Looks super-versatile, and like it’d be especially useful for traveling. Capacious, you know?

  27. I would wear this fabulous bag everywhere! Work, dinner, on my honeymoon to the Bahamas in October and I would even try to get my Yorkie Augustus to get in so I could tote him around! So chic!

  28. I’d wear this for weekend outings and probably as my carry-on when I fly. Love, love, love it! And thanks for the giveaway, Kat! :)

  29. This would be the perfect bag for me, about to enter my senior year of college. I’d use it to carry things to class, a legal pad for upcoming law school interviews (a tip I got from Corporette) and use all of the different pockets to keep the different parts of my life – school, clubs, work, and fun – organized!

  30. I would wear this bag to work! I’ve been looking for a nice brown shade but haven’t had much luck. I think it’s a great bag for both work and play.
