  1. $38 from $128 – ooh et la! I do need belts (a casualty of losing weight…) and I like the way this one looks — But I think I’m probably a small not a medium at this point :-(

    1. It’s not difficult to punch holes in belts – I have a tool that I use all the time, because almost all the belts I buy need a few extra holes. Perhaps a tailor or shoe-repair shop could do this for you!

      1. That’s a good idea — I never considered modifying a belt –

And I actually have a couple that are now a couple holes worth of space too big for me — I will be googling “tailor” and “shoe repair” later!

      2. I usually either get them done at the shoe repair – they would do it for free:) ; or if I am too lazy, I poke them myself using a very hot rod that I put on fire, I don’t know if you have those in america, but they are basically barbecue rod but they are made of steel for reuse rather than the single use bamboo ones.

  2. That is a great belt. Very classic. Would buy it if it were in my size…

  3. Ladies – Forgot to post this this morning — As I was watching the Weather Channel this morning the girl had on the “mermaid” jacket that was posted here a couple weeks ago — Took me a few minutes to clue in to where I knew it from, but it was not a good look on her!

She was a fairly classic hourglass shape, but all that extra fabric in the back made her look like she had on a large burlap sack and had cinched it around her waist – added weight and was not chic!

      1. Ha! That is a hoot. Well, in her defense TV does add 10 lbs. Perhaps its wasn’t the jacket afterall.

Love the belt! That is a great deal for Brooks Brothers, where a pair of socks is typically more than my rent payment.

  4. holy cow. $138 is excessive for a belt, but the others on BB site run up to $998! I just dont get that at all. Im not against designer clothes and signiture peices. But a $1000 belt?!
