Happy Fourth of July! We're taking off early for a long weekend, and hope you are also.
Something on your mind? Chat about it here.
We're loving this red leather bag by Furla (also available in brown). It's nice and big, and the red is simultaneously festive yet standard — it's not too wild for the office, not too dull for the weekend. Lovely! It's $237 at Bluefly (was $395). Furla red pebble leather ‘Salome' hobo
Quick interview etiquette question.
I am interviewing for an in-house position. The recruitment process is 3 interviews and one test. I just took the test, and I’m wondering what kind of follow-up email I can send:
– the HR person who organized the test: a thank you email seems appropriate (but should I copy my the two people I interviewed with?)?
– the two counsels I interviewed with for interviews 1 and 2: something along the lines of “I’m still really excited and motivated about this position and hope you will be hiring me” (phrased differently of course)?
Any thoughts on this?
Do you send a follow-up email (other than a thank you to the HR person) after taking a test as part of a recruitment process (maybe I should mention that the test was an assessment of my legal drafting skills in the two languages I’ll be working in)?
Thanks for your input!
