This statement ring is so pretty — I do wish it were less than $4800.
I'm not familiar with designer Pasquale Bruni, but Neiman Marcus has a number of pieces of theirs right now and I'm drooling over a ton of them — station necklaces and pendants and colorful rings like this one.
The pictured ring is made up of white agate, lapis lazuli, turquoise and moonstone plus lapis lazuli and rock crystal, as well as round-cut white and champagne diamonds. Lovely.

I agree that this is earlobe and face dependent, not age dependent.
Both of those are insane comments. Like anything, earrings can be dowdy, but not because they’re dangling. Wear what you want.

I would have an earring back that helps the earring stay snug in my ear so that my lobe isnt pulled downward, stretching the piercing hole. That is about comfort though, not age. Wear what makes you feel confident.
In general, i ignore other peoples’ rules about clothing in favor of what I like for myself.

Completely agree. I can’t look away. It definitely gives going senile vibes. I keep wonder why aren’t his kids intervening? I feel bad for his ex fiancée, the turnaround timeline is not attractive for him.

She claims to be from my (tiny) hometown in Maine so I’m very invested in this too! I’m 20 years older than her so no personal knowledge but what I’ve heard is she moved to Massachusetts in early childhood but competes in Maine for pageants because it’s much less competitive. And probably better for influencer branding too – more unique to be the Maine lobsterman’s daughter rather than just some random from Mass.
I think of Maine and it’s Cabot Cove, not this. Elder abuse.
This part of Maine is less Cabot Cove and more ultra MAGA lobstermen so her branding is not that off.
Where are we buying nicer work blouses now? I’m a new manager at work and would like to step up my outfits, but I’m not having any luck finding nicer blouses that aren’t $300+. Ideally I’d like some silk fitted-ish tops, some nicer plain tops (sweater tees?) and a couple blouses that lean more tailored than flowy. My early career style used to be clearance priced Equipment silk button front tops and skinny pants…I feel like silk button front tops tucked into wider pants with heels would still look good and not horribly out of date. I’ve bought a couple on Poshmark but would like new ones too. Budget would be $150ish?

Wait about two weeks for the spring sales to start at the luxury department stores. There should be plenty of silk button downs on sale. L’argence has been a favorite lately.
Ravella has nice silk tops that are expensive, but a bit under the price max.

Yes and I wear sandals that hide them (strap across the toes), but 95% of the time I am still wearing sneakers with my fancy orthotics in them.

I have a heel cup that I’m trying to figure out logistics for summer wear. It’s made a huge difference in my bruised heel pain. I might just have to forego sandals until everything is fully healed.
