brown pointy-toed T-strap flats with latticework on vamp

These strappy flats from Sarah Flint look fabulous… I love so many things. The T-Strap flat is still relatively hard to find (despite the popularity of Mary Jane flats!), and I like the Victorian-inspired cutouts in the vamp. The tiny black edging gives some dimension and sharpness to the brown shoes.

Love! They’re $425, at SarahFlint.com. (Ooh, and they’re apparently a riff on a heeled T-Strap they have.)

    1. A new-to-me doctor (neurologist) did my forehead and eye botox last week. She hit a capillary next to my eye and it bruised pretty much immediately. I clearly didn’t do a good job covering it up cuz one of my teammates at work asked about it. Yes, I am safe at home. Now you can think I am vain because I’m not going to tell you about the medical condition that is the real reason I get it done.

      1. As much as people here seem to think no one is concerned about the health of others in my experience that’s not the case. A woman in my friend group broke her arm and refused to tell us how, so there was 2 months we were convinced she was experiencing DV. Turns out she was learning to skateboard and fell in her garage, but was too embarrassed.

        1. My 18 month old broke my nose with a head butt, and oh the work I had to do to convince the urgent care doctor that that’s what actually happened.

      2. I used to do martial arts and there was a time when I was constantly covered in bruises and breaking little bones: fingers, toes, nose. Some of my work colleagues were quite concerned until they found out the real reason.

    2. does anyone else have really specific aches and pains when you’re lying down to go to sleep? like lately (2-3 months?) my right shin has been hurting when i’m trying to fall asleep, or sitting too long in one position. i don’t think i have shin splints?

      1. This sounds weird and concerning. I think you should go see your doctor and I bet they will do a good exam and X-ray at least. The pain from cancer in the bones is often worse at night. Hopefully not that! But better rule it out.

    3. I hear that SF shoes are good, but that the heels (like the Perfects) are actually better than the Natalie flat. I have bad feet and SF looks like something great to try. Can anyone comment on how SF shoes work IRL? Many spendy brands run narrow, but this claims not to (and is less than Ferragamo, etc.). The last good shoe experience I had was a pair of M Gemi flats, so some times mail order works out OK.
