So, I have been working on a post in the background about newer, smaller workwear brands to know about, and it's kind of turned into a monster post with far too many brands. So welcome to a new little series! If you have a new-to-you/smaller brand you've bought from and would like to recommend, let us know!

Another Tomorrow
Some of Another Tomorrow's bestsellers, above: blouse / skirt / bow blouse
Another Tomorrow is on the pricier side — the pieces above are $540-$900. They are focusing on sustainability, noting:
Our collection pushes the boundaries of what responsibly grown and ethically manufactured materials can achieve. Sensual, strong, and proportioned to flatter many forms, they are clothes suited for the modern warrior and meant to be lasting wardrobe staples.
The brand was created by Vanessa Barboni Hallik while she was on sabbatical from a finance job. Many of their best-sellers come in 8+ colors; they offer US sizes 0-14. You can also find the brand at Saks. If you order directly from the site they offer complimentary shipping and returns.
Me + Em
Some of Me+Em's bestsellers, above: pant / blouse / dress
Me+Em is a British workwear brand; some pieces are as high as $850, but most are around $300 per piece. Note that the brand comes in US sizes 2-12 only.
“I don’t believe that modern women should have to choose between quality and cost; between contemporary trends and clothes they can actually function and look great in. That’s why I founded ME+EM in 2009.”
The brand has six boutiques in London and is carried by Selfridges and Harrods; you can also order online. They promise U.S. shipping in 2-5 days for most items, and free U.S. returns.
Scanlan Theodore
Some of Scanlan Theodore's bestsellers include: black suit / shirtdress / blue suit
Scanlan Theodore is a brand that's newer to me, but it's been around for over 30 years. I adore pretty much the entire crepe knit collection as well as their entire tailored section.
For over 30 years women have embraced Scanlan Theodore’s modern elegance and independent spirit as their very own. Synonymous with intelligent well-crafted designs, Scanlan Theodore’s devotion to simple, clean, modern aestheticism has not changed since its inception in 1987. The labels dedication to independent beauty is infused in each Scanlan Theodore creation, defining a new genre of femininity. The Scanlan Theodore woman is confident, intelligent and complex — for it’s all the layered facets of life that make a design, an image and indeed a woman, a timeless beauty of memorable quality.
The Australian brand is new(ish) to the United States, but growing its presence — you can visit their boutiques in New York City, Bal Harbour, FL, Manhasset, NY, and Dallas, TX, as well as order online. Saks also carries a really limited sampling.
They note that for ground shipping it's $10, but that shipping charges are not refundable, and all packages are signature upon delivery. There is a $25 return shipping and restocking fee for all returns (and a 14-day window).
Readers, have you bought from any of these smaller workwear brands? What are your thoughts?
