Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices. Naturalizer Women's Bohemia PumpReader T writes in to sing the praises of Naturalizer's Bohemia pump. “I cannot say enough good things! They are comfy, walkable, and super cute. I loved them so much, I got a pair in Bisque/Taupe, and a second pair in Black. I have especially gotten lots of compliments on the Bisque ones.” We agree — the shoes do look super cute. We like the slightly unusual gray/black/teal combo (pictured, on sale at Endless), or the taupe pair available through Naturalizer's website. Some of the color combos are on sale, so the price ranges from $57.90 to $79.95. They come in sizes 5.5 through 12. 1. Adorable! I just ordered the teal/black/gray combo, which I think will be great with gray suits. I’ve been very happy with other Naturalizer shoes, so I have my fingers crossed!

  2. OH, and they’re the same price at Piperlime, just no overnight shipping (but still free), if someone wants a size/width not available at Endless (that’s where I had to order from to get my size and width – 6.5 B).

  3. I love the taupe version! It’s also nice that they have a stacked heel, much harder to destroy in a grate or sidewalk crack .

  4. Has anyone had problems with thinning hair? I’m 30 and have had gradual hair thinning over the last 4-5 years. I’ve tried most everything, including washing my hair with more gentle shampoos, not using a blowdryer, taking GNC hair, skin, and nails supplements, taking biotic supplements, etc. I haven’t tried Rogaine, which is what my dermatologist recommended, because I want to get pregnant in the next year or so and am worried about birth defects. I don’t have a thyroid problem as far as I know.

If you have any tips, please do share. It’s very frustrating because I used to have such thick hair. :(

    1. So sorry about your hair, but you are right about staying off non-crucial meds until after having your baby. Meanwhile, ask around for a hairdresser experienced in cutting to compensate for the thinning. I have thin hair around my face, and my clever hairdresser makes it very difficult to tell. My father and brother both were nearly bald by their mid-30s, so in my family there’s a large genetic component.

Also, if your hair is dark, and you have pale skin, the thinness will be more apparent. I’m keeping my hair a quite pale blonde to be less contrasty with my pasty-white complexion. A friend has thin hair but keeps it dyed dark brown, big contrast with her pale scalp, I’m trying to think up a kindly way to tell her.

      1. These are great tips, thanks. My hairdresser helps out the best she can, but I am very adverse to wearing my hair short, which helps disguise thin hair — I have very curly hair and a square face, so short hair would be hard for me to pull off. Also, my skin color is dark brown and my hair is black, so luckily I don’t have that issue with the big contrast in color!

        Thanks everyone.

    2. I’ve had problems with thinning hair since my mid twenties and am now 40. I tried everything and went through all sorts of tests [found nothing ever] I finally wore a hairpiece for ten years, but stopped when I had my children. I am so glad I did. Now I use Morrocco Method products [https://morroccomethod.com/]. I still have thin hair but it looks great and I actually get a lot of compliments on it. P.S. Rogaine did nothing for me but I tried it ten or so years ago.

      1. Katie, Iam thinking of trying the Morrocco Method Henna. How long have you used it, what are your results. I’m trying to cover gray roots and do away with the chemical processes. Any input would be appreciated

  5. I would get a thorough check with an endocrinologist as hair loss can be related to not just thyroid, but other hormones as well. Sorry to say, once my difficulties were corrected, the hair loss stopped but after 9 years now, has not regrown. :(

More than ever, I’d say get it checked out. Hoping for the best for you –

  6. I’ve had thinning hair since my mid-30s. It coincided with me being diagnosed with TypeII diabetes. Now that my sugar-levels are under control, my hair is a lot thicker (but not back to “normal”). I agree with dr– go see an endocrinologist. Stress is also a big factor.

    1. I’ll look into the endocrinologist idea, thanks. If anyone has recommendations for someone in the DC metro area, let me know.

      1. I see Dr. Mark Sklar at Washington Circle (downtown DC/Foggy Bottom metro stop). He’s fantastic.

    1. This could be me! (Except, of course, better looking). :)
I have a very similar combo and wear it a lot, and the backdrop looks like the SF Embarcadero area where I go to lunch sometimes. I have possibly the exact skirt, which I bought at BR about a year ago. It’s a high waisted pencil skirt in a grey that seems to have undertones of brown. I often wear a black short-sleeved shirt with this skirt, and black pumps. I got my shirt at Kohl’s, its pretty basic.
Goes well with an oxidized silver/black cuff bracelet.

      1. In case you’re interested, the photo was actually taken in Pitt Street Mall in Sydney, Australia.

The skirt could be from Cue, they are an Australian company who tend to do more interesting corporate wear and usually feature a number of high waisted skirts. Unfortunately I don’t know if they sell overseas.

  7. wow – I usually don’t like Naturalizers because I think they look too old-ladyish, but these are CUTE. May have to get 2 pair…

    1. All my working life I’ve made sure to have in my closet 1 wear-with-black pair and 1 wear-with-brown pair of comfortable, decent-looking pumps, for days I can’t face my more fashionable but likely less comfortable shoes. These are perfect.

  8. For some reason I’ve been unsuccessful in posting comments on here–I’ve tried twice to state that Endless.com doesn’t have an exchange policy, so returns and re-orders can be a hassle when your original order was made using a promotional offer.

    1. Returns haven’t been a problem for me when purchases were made with a promotional code. You get the shoes so quickly that you know if they don’t work and can generally order a different size using the same promotion or code. Then you just return the first ones. I love it – so much quicker and easier than the traditional “mail your return back to us and sometime in the next month we’ll get around to sending you your exchange item” practice of most online retailers.

  9. Yay, I’m glad other people like these! Coincidentally, I’m wearing my black ones today.

  10. FYI — I ordered these from Endless this morning and they didn’t have the taupe color, but it’s there now (still not in my size, so I can’t be too disappointed)!

  11. I’m the odd one out, I really like the Saddle. Maybe it’s because I’m a life-long equestrian?

  12. These are not post-worthy (except maybe b/c of their price). There are so many beautiful shoes out there! I just don’t understand.

  13. I’m loving the taupe – seems like they would be really good to wear with pants or jeans.

  14. I have these (in the color combo pictured) and love them. Really cute with a dress and tights, and also comfortable enough to wear at trial.

  15. I ordered these and am returning them – the teal color is in fact forest green (I thought someone else mentioned that but I don’t see it above) and in person, they do look a bit matronly in cut to me – just like the naturalizers I wore a million years ago when I was pregnant and needed a low heel traditional pump. So I liked them a lot on the screen, less so in person…
