For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional. I didn't think I could like a sweater dress + blazer combo — even as separates! — but WHBM has done it. The effect is much more “monotone” than “suit,” but that's OK… if you're traveling you can get a number of different outfits out of a few pieces.
There are matching straight pants, wide legs and a “Riley Trouser.” There is also a scoop neck vest, a “stretch crepe collared sheath dress,”and then a number of matching blouses.

Same. I’m the poster from earlier in the week with the new dark olive j crew suit. I’m about to see if the olives match (unlikely) or perhaps contrast nicely (hopefully).
I went into a WHBM when I had spare time on a business trip and I really loved it! I bought several items.
Very nice suit, love this green. If this had been wool (even just 60 percent), I would have been very tempted.
Probably a low stakes question, but my company wants to start putting pictures on our emails. They will use our badge pics or we can send a new one. My badge pic is the one taken by my old law firm over 10 years ago. It’s a nice picture and I haven’t dramatically changed my look since then (or so I tell myself?).
Some people I see have more casual pics, but as a lawyer, I figure mine should be a little more professional (like the old one). Should I just stick with the old picture or try to take a new one on my own (and ugh, what do I wear)? I email a lot, but no one really looks at my badge.
I would not use a 10 year old photo. And honestly I think a professional head shot every few years is a good investment.
I would spend zero energy on this & let them use the old one. If they cared, they’d take new ones, right? I think casual photos can reflect poorly, especially dated ones. But an old professional photo, who cares? (Unless you’re an actress or a model lol.) Presumably, it will only be the size of a thumbnail on the email.
