A while back a reader wrote in wondering how to walk quietly in heels — and while a number of readers noted that they loved the sound their clicking heels made on hard floors, I still think there are some places that a quiet shoe is best, such as when walking the otherwise quiet halls of a courtroom, a school, or other situations.
