Great inspiration piece! I love that belt.
I think size 6 is also “tiny girls”
Any idea how these run for sizing? I couldn’t find a sizing chart on-line. I just called Dillard’s and they could only tell me information from a “general” sizing chart, which gave a size “3” with these measurements: 32″ bust, 24″ waist, and 34″ hips. And note, that’s not the measurements for a size “0” or “2,” which are presumably smaller than a “3.” Are they sizing for children?! That’s tiny! I’m inclined not to believe it. Thoughts?
I love it. Laundry is a pretty good brand for the pear-shaped ladies, although it seems like the stores in my area stopped carrying it years ago.
Sillyputty- you’re definitely a 0. I wore a 0 in Laundry clothes when I was a little bigger than you in the waist/hips and had the same size top.
Nordstrom has a dress size chart for Laundry:

meh…its ok.
FYI, ruelala.com is having a Laundry sale today. It’s one of those sites that requires a (free) membership, but the sales are usually pretty good.
I second jcb’s shout out for RueLaLa. If it doesn’t fit, return for merch credit at any of the featured boutiques and no return shipping charge. I also like the non-clothing boutiques (jewelry, watches, glassware, home decor, etc.) I got some great Clark’s/Privo shoes at lower prices than I’d seen them at DSW. I also subscribe to Beyondthe Rack but haven’t bought anything there yet. Seems to be a bit lower end and younger trends than RueLaLa.
Dress looks awfully short. I wish Dillard’s gave lengths like Nordies does.
I just tried this on at Bloomingdale’s today and it fit wonderfully! It was adorable on and on sale too, I think it was half off of $179 and they had it in a few sizes. It wasn’t short at all, quite appropriate for the workplace. I am now regretting not buying it, but I was a few hundred $ into my shopping spree so I cut myself off before I bought the dress.
