Our daily TPS reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.Oooo — great green patent Mary Jane pump from Pour La Victoire (available in black and taupe, as well). We love the color, the strap for added support, and the sturdy heel. Lovely. We'd wear them with navy pants and a dark purple sweater. They're available at Endless for $189 (with a special offer for $20 off which appears when you check out). Pour La Victoire Women's Valda Mary Jane Pump
As of 2026, these are our latest favorite strappy heels for work — also check the brands J.Crew, Valentino, and Jennifer Chamandi for strappy pumps. If you’re looking for strappy commuting shoes with heels to maintain a hem length, we recommend Dansko, Eileen Fisher, or FLY London.

I’ve always been curious about this line, but never felt like risking the dough to try it. (Cole Haan is my go-to shoe line.)
Any reviewers out there? Comfy, padding, hold up well, etc?
Here is a link to all the Zappos reviews for this brand. I don’t see one for this shoe, but it does give you an idea of the brand’s overall characteristics. http://www.zappos.com/pour-la-victoire
Comment above was me. No intent to be anonymous, only too-fast fingers…
hunter green shoes with navy pants and a purple sweater? sounds a little too much for my taste.
Love it. Can’t do the pointy-toes anymore, though. As my mother warned me, they are bad for the feet.
A blogger named Ashe Mischief adores them, for what it’s worth. I’ve never tried them…
I used to wear those more conical heels in the 80s. They aren’t as solid as they look–more stiletto than chunky to walk on–ankle tiring…
but love love love the green–a nice neutral, really
can’t get used to patent leather for fall though….
swoon – love these
I’m generally not a fan of Mary Janes on grown ups, but I love, love, love these! Now if I can only figure out how to convince my husband that I need yet another pair of shoes…
Beautiful. Love the color, the style, the patent leather. But green AND navy AND purple would be too much for me as well….two of the three maybe, but not all together.
I’d do the green and navy and purple. Just so I could say I had before I die…
I’d do the color combination, and I love these shoes in this shot. However, there are other sites where they look cheap… So I’m torn. Poor photography?
Conical heels look, to me, trendy and edgy, and not classy. The mary jane style makes it even worse. They look clunky and unflattering. Just my opinion.
I love Mary Janes and T-straps, they make wearing heels that much easier. These are just lovely, but way out of my budget.
I ordered these yesterday and already received them with the overnight free shipping! They are beautiful and definitely not “cheap” looking. Let’s see if they are as comfortable as they felt for the 2 minutes I’ve tried them on!
So glad to hear it because I adore them!!
Love these. Usually I don’t like patent shoes but this color somehow overwhelms my reservations.
